As you will find out, this is the epitome of my life! I am hoping having a blog will make me focus on finishing everything (well a lot, one step at a time ) that I start.
I will be experimenting with themes for my blog but don’t worry, I hope to settle on one soon!
Well, I finished most of the trim but then got sidetracked and made a pair of earrings for my sister Susie…
and started taking some pictures of a pair I made earlier …
OK, I have to finish painting the last little bit of trim in this room before I can bring in the rug and move the piano to it’s designated spot. I want to decorate NOW but I must make myself finish first!
I bought this rug from Overstock.com in the light blue and the Chevron pattern will look great in my foyer…

This is the beautiful rug I bought online, the colors are not as bright as the photo and the blue is a little less turquoise but I really love it, can’t wait to put it in my studio.

This weekend I attended a bead show in Charlotte NC and while in the city I decided to stop by IKEA and check out the organizing section. I found these terrific hanging ceramic jars that look great in my studio corner. Take a look…
The tray came from IKEA also, I love the bright colors! The little magnet board is Jonathan Adler and I found it at TJ Maxx recently. This is a preview of the new piano room, it is still not completely finished but the painting is done and the furniture is assembled and now I just need to arrange the rest of the room and I will post pictures. Meanwhile here is another picture of my new happy place…
